EAGLE library for 16X2 and 20X4 LCDs

These are the parts that I have used for quite some time for all circuit boards I designed that have LCDs. Free for the grab but please check the dimension of your LCD before using them as some suppliers have smaller/larger mounting holes and not all LCDs have the holes at the same locations. Some parts have only 3 mounting holes since the bottom right corner of the LCD would be right above the GPS connector on phi-2 shields. The 16X2 LCD with connectors on bottom left have been used for some projects too.
Would add to try to use compatible fasteners. If the PCB has copper / brass holes; try to use nylon or brass fasteners. Many years ago, stainless fasteners were used in early solid state pinball games and galvanic corrosion caused mayhem… The 4×20 LCD I am using has copper surrounding the mounting holes.
Good point! I forgot most of my high school chemistry 🙂 I didn’t expect to pick up chemistry from circuit boards 🙂
Thank you man!
You are welcome! I’ve used these parts for PCBs so I have unofficial guarantee on their accuracy.
please how can i download lcd 16 * 2 to my system
You download the file and place it in your EAGLE library folder. Search how to change which folders EAGLE looks for libraries.
thanks 😀
